ELECTRIC SKILLET LASAGNA

Utensils Needed: Saladmaster Machine, Electric Liquid Core Miracle Skillet with cover

SHOPPING LIST:                                             

1-28 oz. Jar Prego Sauce                                 

1-Green Zucchini                                                

1-Yellow Squash                                                

1-24 oz. Small Curd Cottage Cheese             

1-Box Lasagna Noodles                                  

1 Pound Of Mozzarella Cheese                       

                                                                                                                                        

DIRECTIONS:

1. In Cold Electric Skillet

2. Pour 1/2 Jar Sauce, Spread Evenly

3. Layer Noodles, Break To Fit

4. Spread Cottage Cheese Over Noodles

5. Cut Zucchini & Squash (#2 Blade) Directly Into Electric Skillet

6. Second Half Of Sauce Over Veggies

7. Another Layer Of Noodles Over Sauce

8. Cut One Pound Of Mozzarella ( #2 Blade) Directly On Top

9. Set Probe To 350 Degrees, When Valve Clicks

10. Reduce To 225 Degrees & Set Timer For 25 Minutes

 

 

 

ORANGE ROUGHY & ASPARAGUS

Utensils Needed:  Electric Liquid Core Miracle Skillet with cover.

SHOPPING LIST:                                                         

4- Frozen Orange Roughy Fillets              

1- Asparagus Or Broccoli Bunch              

2- Large Lemons                                        

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. In Cold Skillet, Place Frozen Fish Fillets  

2. Snap Ends Of Asparagus & Place On Fish 

3. Squirt Lemon and Cover 

4. Set Probe To 350 Degrees

5. When Valve Clicks, Reduce To 200 Degrees For 10 Minutes

PORK CHOPS

Utensils Needed: Saladmaster Machine, Electric Liquid Core Miracle Skillet with cover

SHOPPING LIST:

4 - Boneless 1-Inch Loin Pork Chops

4 - Large Apples (McIntosh, Rome or Gala)

2 - Large Sweet Potatoes

DIRECTIONS:

1. Pre Heat Electric Skillet To 400 Degrees

2. Season Pork Chops, Place Season Side Down In Skillet & Cover

3. Process Apples on (#2 Blade)

4. Flip Pork Chops

5. Place Apples On Pork Chops

6. Place Sliced Sweet Potatoes On Apples & Cover

7. Set Probe to 220 Degrees For 20 Minutes

Saladmaster Salad

Utensils Needed: Saladmaster Machine, 

Using the # 1 Cone:

Grate about half of a small block of cheese

2 Carrots,

2 Celery Stalks

Using the # 2 Cone:

½ of a Large Zucchini Squash

1 Rome or Gala Apple with the peel facing the blade

( You can do the Cabbage with this blade too, if you prefer a finer cut)

(Side note: If you are making this salad to eat at a later time or take to a dinner or picnic, you can cut your apples into pineapple juice and it will keep them from turning brown as quickly)

Using the # 3 Cone:

1 small Yellow Squash

Using the # 4 Cone:

1 small yellow Squash

4-5 radishes

Using the # 5 Cone:

½ of a Large Zucchini Squash

1/8 to ¼ head of purple or green Cabbage

Stir in ½ jar of Marzetti’s Cole Slaw dressing and enjoy!

Note: I also recommend Newman’s Own Oil & Vinegar Salad Dressing for a lower fat version of this Salad. Newman’s Own original recipe Oil & Vinegar Salad Dressing does not need refrigeration so you can take this salad to work with a small bottle of dressing and have a great healthy salad anytime. Very Convenient!

Electric Skillet (Guilt Free, Heart Healthy) Chicken & Potatoes

Utensils Needed: Saladmaster Machine, Electric Liquid Core Miracle Skillet.

Shopping list:

4-6 Boneless Skinless chicken breasts

1-2 LARGE bakers sized potatoes

1 jar of SPIKE brand Seasoning

 

Directions:

Step 1. Pre-Heat Elect Skillet to 400 degrees.

Step 2. Wash Chicken and place on a plate and season 1 side with Spike Seasoning. Be sure to apply a lot of seasoning to cover the chicken.

Step 3*. Place chicken Seasoned side down in the pre-heated skillet and place cover on skillet. (Leave for approx. 3 min while you cut up your potatoes)

Step 4. Scrub potatoes then use the #3 Cone to cut your potatoes up into a large bowl.

Step 5*. Now flip the chicken in the Electric Skillet and add potatoes on top of chicken. Sprinkle a good amount of SPIKE seasoning on the potatoes and replace cover.

Step 6: Set timer for 7 min. Let sit for about 5 min and serve.

*IMPORTANT Note:

Always spin the cover to make sure there are no potatoes or food in the lip so the skillet can get a good seal. Also… Always make sure the Vapo Valve is not hitting a piece of potato that would cause it to stick up. It has to have room to move up and down in order for the food to cook properly.

World Famous Saladcake

Utensils Needed: Saladmaster Machine, Electric Liquid Core Miracle Skillet.

Preheat your Electric Skillet to 300 degrees. Break 3 eggs into a mixing bowl and beat. Add 1 box of Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Spice or French Vanilla Cake Mix. Place mixing bowl under Saladmaster Machine; Using the #1 Cone Grate 1 ½ to 2 inches of zucchini, yellow squash, and carrot, and grate 1 stalk of celery on the #1 also. Using #2 cone grate ½ apple (Gala or Fuji recommended), and about 5-6 turns of red & or green cabbage, mix thoroughly. Batter will be very thick. Spray preheated skillet with Pam Original non-stick cooking spray and pour batter into hot skillet. Set timer for 30 min.

Roast With Vegetables

Utensil: Dutch oven Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
1 (4-pound) pot roast, such as chuck, chuck tender or *rump
1/2 teaspoon *garlic powder or granulated garlic (may use I to
2 fresh garlic cloves, finely chopped)
5 carrots, peeled and cut in 3-inch lengths
5 potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters 1 large yellow onion, peeled and cut into quarters

Preheat Dutch oven over medium heat. Place roast in Dutch oven. Cook on one side for 10 minutes or until brown and meat loosens in pan. Turn roast and season with garlic powder or granulated garlic and pepper. Cook 10 minutes longer on other side. Add vegetables (including fresh garlic if using) and cover. When Vapo Valve clicks, reduce heat to low and cook 1-1/2 hours or until tender. Season to taste with salt or salt substitute.

Black Forest Cake

Utensils:  9" Skillet or 2 Qt Saucepan

 

1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
1/2 Moist Deluxe Chocolate Cake Mix
2 Eggs

Pam Original Cooking Spray

Directions:

Spray bottom and sides with Pam

Put 3/4 can of cherry pie filling in bottom.

In bowl add 1/2 package of chocolate cake mix and 2 eggs. 

Add 1/2 cup of water and stir.

Pour cake mix on top of pie filling

Set on stove top burner just below  medium heat until valve clicks.

As soon as valve clicks wipe inside of cover with paper towel to remove excess moisture

Turn to low for about 10-12 min. 
Check with knife to make sure cake is done all the way.

Remove cover and put plate on top of pan and flip over to remove cake. 

Use the rest of the cherry pie filling to cover the top of the cake if here are any spots without cherries.

Skillet Meat Loaf

Utensils: Large 11" skillet, or Electric Skillet Saladmaster Machine
Yield: 8 servings

Directions:

2 ounces reduced-fat or *fat-free cheddar cheese
1 small onion
1 medium potato
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce, divided
2 pounds lean *ground beef or ground turkey
2 eggs or 1/2 cup *egg substitute, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt

Process cheese and potato using #l cone, onion using #2 cone.

Measure 1/3 cup tomato sauce; set aside. In a large bowl mix onion, potato, beef, remaining tomato sauce, eggs and salt. Mix well; shape into loaf, place in skillet; top with reserved tomato sauce. Cover; cook over medium heat (350 degrees) until Vapo-Valve clicks, reduce heat to low and cook 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over meat loaf. Cover; cook 3-4 minutes until cheese melts.
